FHS Spring Play
Our Spring Play is a fantastic after-school program that offers students a chance to dive into the world of theatre through acting and stagecraft. Students must audition to join the cast, ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. This program helps build confidence, teamwork, and creative expression in a supportive environment. We encourage all students passionate about drama and performance to audition and become part of this inspiring and fun experience!
Who Can Be Invovled/ Auditions
-
Acting Auditions: Students will prepare a 1–2 minute monologue, either chosen from the provided monologues for students new to theatre or first-year students. Students who have been in a Theatre Fishers show before must find a monologue on their own. Sign up via Ludus.
-
Callbacks: Students who receive a callback are being considered for a leading or featured role; however, not being on the callback list does not mean you are not in the show—it just means you are not being considered for a leading or featured role.
-
Tech Crew: Students will apply via Microsoft Forms to be on the crew. Students indicate what crew they would like to be a part of. Just because a student indicates their preferred crew does not mean they will be assigned to that crew. The director of theatre and technical director will assign students to the crew that best fits the production's needs. Much like each show has different casting requirements, the same goes for crew assignments. Depending on the needs of each production, the number of students on each crew will vary.
