Thespians
Indiana State Thespians is a prestigious theatre honor society that recognizes and celebrates students’ dedication and excellence in the performing arts. As part of this community, students have opportunities to develop their skills, connect with fellow theatre enthusiasts, and participate in statewide events, workshops, and festivals. Membership encourages leadership, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for theatre arts, providing a supportive environment for students to grow both on and off the stage. Whether through performances, technical work, or mentorship, Indiana State Thespians offers a meaningful way to honor and advance your passion for theatre.

Tech Theatre
A high school tech theatre crew operates lighting and sound systems, manages set changes, handles props and costumes, and coordinates all technical elements that make a show run smoothly. Working backstage teaches students valuable skills like problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail while building confidence through their critical roles. Tech crew members experience the satisfaction of contributing to a successful production, form strong bonds with peers through teamwork, and develop skills that transfer to college and careers. Backstage work also provides an inclusive entry point for students who want to be part of theatre without performing on stage.

Fall Musical
Our Fall Musical is an exciting after-school program that invites students to showcase their talents in singing, acting, and dancing. Participation requires an audition, giving every interested student a fair chance to be part of this wonderful production. This program is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and experience the magic of live theater. We encourage all students who love performing arts to audition and be part of a fun, creative community!

One Acts

Actors interested in performing must audition to be cast. These productions take place in the intimate black-box theatre, providing a creative space made by students for students. This program complements our other theatre opportunities like the Fall Musical, Spring Play, Drama Club, and Indiana State Thespians, encouraging leadership, collaboration, and artistic growth across all areas of theatre.
