FHS Student Directed One Acts
Our Student-Directed One Acts program offers a unique opportunity for students to lead and perform in original short plays created by their peers. To direct a one-act, students must be enrolled in the Direction class. Actors interested in performing must audition to be cast. These productions take place in the intimate black-box theatre, providing a creative space made by students for students.
Who Can Be Invovled/ Auditions
-
Student directors must be enrolled in the Direction class.
-
Auditions: Any FHS Student can audition.
-
Acting Auditions: Students will prepare a 1–2 minute monologue, either chosen from the provided monologues for students new to theatre or first-year students. Students who have been in a Theatre Fishers show before must find a monologue on their own. Sign up via Ludus.
-
Callbacks: Students who receive a callback are being considered for a leading or featured role; however, not being on the callback list does not mean you are not in the show—it just means you are not being considered for a leading or featured role.
